Thank you all for your prayers! Everything went great! No problem with IV and prep wasn't too bad. Everything looked clear and I don't need to go back for 2 years instead of 1!!!
Hi Leah! Just checking in to let you know I think about you daily and am praying like crazy for you and your family! You are truly amazing! Your writings are inspirational - keep them coming... I expect they are therapeutic for you and most helpful for the rest of us who feel so helpless in relieving your pain! I have heard amazing things about diet keeping cancer at bay.... keep up the good work! Luckily, eating vegan and raw is very trendy now so it should be easier for you to follow it with lots of great options out there... I actually have a friend in Nashville who does a lot of raw food prep... her site is called "spark of life" .... check it out... I wish she was local.... I would keep your cupboards stocked! Leah, I'm glad to hear the screening went well!! I also wanted to share with you a Restaurant in Providence that one of the girls on base has recommended to me several times its called "The Grange" look it up. Its a vegan restaurant that has great reviews plus it would give you guys a chance to go out and enjoy a meal that keeps with your diet focus! I look forward to seeing your smile back at SEACORP as you start to move forward again. You're blogs provide inspiration to all of us as we struggle with the helpless feelings of not being able to take away from your difficult struggle! Always know you are loved!
