Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love scrabble. I am getting sick of playing the computer on my ipad. Does anyone want to play online or know of any other word game aps I can get and play other people? I need a new addictive game!
I have been sleeping a little better and yes I'm taking the pills. I was touched by how many people contacted me over the post about sleeping and were concerned for me getting enough sleep :)
Can't help you with the word game question, but wanted to tell you that I LOVE the new pictures in the leaves!!! And I'm so glad you are taking the pills [2 :-)]
ReplyDeleteHAve you played words with friends (Scrabble) or scramble with friends (Boggle). Those are two fo the best to play with people. I play both and my user name is cjlukas
ReplyDeleteChristine hit the nail on the head- set up a words with friends account, if you are willing to "whack a mole" pop up ads there is a fully functional free version or the upgrade is cheap too. Set up an account and let me know your name and I would love to play in the evenings, you will have NO shortage of folks addicted to these apps. knocking on your door.
ReplyDeleteSkype has games that you can play against your friends (and maybe against the computer too). I can't confirm playing against the computer b/c no skype at work :/

While it's not a word game, I love Mahjong...seems like good exercise for the brain, albeit without words, although you don't play it against other people.

I have another idea...what about a hook rug or a needlepoint. I know the hook rug is very easy to learn, because I can do it!!! LOL.... Not so sure about the needlepoint. They make great keepsakes and gifts!! or I know the craft stores also sell painted glass kits. You have such a beautiful big picture window to display them. They may even have kid friendly ones too....I'll check it out this weekend.

It's Scrabble-like, meaning it's a crossword style game. All the words are filled in on the grid but one of each letter in the alphabet is missing and you have to figure out where they go and fill them in.
